What I do several weekends after the cold cold Winter....

My brother is a musician and when he plays shows, I am the band's photographer.... sometimes when the shows are close enough to Athens, he lets me bring my girlfriends along and since I am technically 'working' the show, we all get to enjoy the perks of being VIP .... Last night was their first show of the year and we all had a blast. Tania, Whitney, Lauren, and Cari all joined me and on this rare occasion, we actually got to hang backstage. I think we ran most of the guys out with our girly giggles, (or maybe they were watching the other bands - who knows - we were only there for the JAWGA BOYZ) and we had the place to ourselves for a bit. Good fun, good laughs, a few free drinks, and a couple of girls that love photography  = some fun pics. I love being able to hand the camera off to someone as stealthy as myself in capturing innocent fun moments, and Whitney is a pro with the camera...

My awesome brother - I am so very proud of him. He has been passionate about making music since he was just a little bitty thing. It has been the most joyous experience to watch him grow and follow his dream and never, ever give in or give up.

 ....and at the end of every single show, he spends at least an hour with his fans. He is very aware that without their loyalty, his success would be nothing and no matter how late it is or how tired he is, he pushes through until the last autograph is signed, last photo has been taken, and last meet and greet with the last fan has been made. No exception. It is so refreshing to see such authentic appreciation in this industry......
