Warm farm day and Sweet Stuff Sunday!

What a beautiful day.... the sun was shining, the temps were mild and I was excited to see how Milly was doing without her shirt. I took it off of her yesterday and she seemed to be doing pretty good without it - no excessive chewing, licking, etc, and I knew the sunshine would be good for her skin today. Check her out! Doesn't she just look great?!?!? One side is completely healed to the point that it doesn't appear she will ever have a problem with lesions again, and the other side has one small spot that should be healed this year sometime (fingers crossed).
She is always happy - whether she is in a shirt or not. She's my little positive force out here in the field, but I can tell she is really enjoying the mild temperature and sunshine beaming down on her little shirtless body....

 Goat selfie!

Misty was in a very talkative mood today....

So I discovered a spring in the field.... seems that with all the rain we had a while back, a teeny little spring was formed...... I have been watching it for several weeks now.... the water is crystal clear... I noticed it when the temps were in the single digits and this little watering hole remained unfrozen...

Ellen girl's udders are finally drying up. She would not let me help her out AT ALL with relieving her, so I was a little worried, but she is slowly getting there....
I love goat teeth. They are so crooked and ugly and very awkward looking, but so dang cute at the same time....

Eli is loving this weather. He's just relaxin'.....
 ...and being so sweet.....
Ellie has been head butting my fenceposts lately.... I don't know why all of a sudden she wants to give me trouble... Sweet as pie, but challenging the posts!
Weather is supposed to be nasty (again) next week, so I'm soooooo glad I got to enjoy this beautiful sunny day with my critters!!
.....annnnnnnnnd my sweet treat this 'Sandi's Sweet Stuff Sunday' was originally going to be a sweet ricotta cheese gallette, but I had a fierce sweet tooth attack and opted for a quick alternative - soft and chewy chocolate cookies! Flour, eggs, cocoa, vanilla, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and butter - all ingredients I had already! Less than 15 minutes later, my sweet tooth was satisfied! Boom! 5 minute prep and 7 minutes to bake.
