Thanksgiving & gratitude day 23

We did it! We had thanksgiving dinner and we made it IN OUR KITCHEN! Yes folks, we only lack a kitchen sink now! It’s tricky washing dishes in the tiny bathroom sink, but we’ve gotten the hang of it lately.

Today’s meal consisted of a baked potato, brussel sprouts, black-eyed peas, cornbread, and max and cheese! After dinner, we watched “Funny Pages” - it was good!

Then we had homemade pecan pie and coffee and watched the new Brian Jones documentary - also good!

Currently I’m cuddling with my sweet Reece because he doesn’t want to get up to pee, so blogging for now and soon I’ll walk him and head off to dreamland.

Recognizing gratitude today for my family… we are so close and I am so lucky that I have the kind of relationships I do with my siblings. I love my brother dearly and cherish every moment I get to spend with him and love my sister dearly and through devastation and struggle, our relationship became so much more than it ever was before. I’m grateful our mama is still trotting around like a 30 year old, heading to the beach every chance she gets and attending bootcamp workouts multiple times per week to stay young.

I hope you all had a lovely time with family and friends. We stayed home today due to my sinus crud, but will be visiting family soon when this passes.
