weekend in photos.....

I was so ready for the weekend, but somehow managed to get way more done than I had originally planned. How do I do it? I really don't know, but get asked this a LOT.... the weekend started with tons of fog. This made for a very cinematic seeming stroll with my Eddie.....

I got to visit to my old pal, Deere.... His family had a weekend planned out of town and he was being boarded at the facility that took him in last fall when his original adoption fell through. He was happy to see me, and I was so happy to see him. I have said it a thousand times.... He is where he was always meant to be. He is part of a family. He has a mom, dad, two human brothers, and a canine sister.  <3
I learned how to do a little electric work! I have been needing to get lights up in the shop since replacing the ceiling, and could have waited on my stepdad to help me, but decided if my friend Angie was free, maybe she could teach me! She is a Jill of all trades, and so, who better to learn from??

then off to get feed in my ol' Ford..... I LOVE driving this thing. It has no radio, so I usually sing and think of my dad when I drive it. The whole reason I wanted this model was because my dad had one and I vividly remember riding with him in it.....
It was a lazy day for Eli on Saturday after the sun decided to break through the fog..... He ate and then slept in the sun for hours.....
Everyone was ready for the sun.......

...and then Sunday morning I spent some time with my Reece. He is another example of a super smart boy (like Deere) that just needs someone to dedicate lots of time to.... and in return, he gives the best kisses....
...then my gal Coco got in on the kisses....
...then once again I was off to work/ plan/ and dream in my little shop. Christian finally saw it because I needed his help moving some heavy things.... He was super impressed....

...and then we ended the day making sure the well and all of our plumbing was ready for the cold, cold night ahead. My chubby Rose was happy to get double the normal amount of hay....

Well, now I am off to walk Eddie and get my butt to work. Oh! I also cut my hair. yassssss. Close to two feet went buh-bye.... It was time for a change. Happy Monday!!

** footnote - sorry for the lack of posting on the weekends lately..... I have been getting into so much when I am off work, that I need to soak in an epsom bath (rather than chill on the couch and blog)  and then watch at least a few episodes of Twin Peaks with my most favorite man in the whole world!!! **
