Yay for Saturday!! I got caught up yesterday morning writing a little piece for a little online publication [focusing on ladies of the land] that is operated by a gal named Daisy out west who is literally off grid and roughing it (hunting, skinning, outdoor composting toilet-ing it, farming, all on 20 acres of never before worked land in Nevada County, CA - they have drilled a well, have outdoor plumbing, and are in the process of building their home, but her story is pretty fascinating. I will share her badass story and share more details about this project soon, but for now here is my catch-up for the #100HappyDays project and my 'to do' list for the day:
Today I plan on:
~ going to the gym
~ doing a little thrifting
~ doing a photoshoot to showcase some of the smaller sized items in the shop
~ working in my little loft studio (some cute sewing projects I have in mind)
~ doing a little bit of groundwork with Miss Rose
~ start germinating more seeds for the garden
~ take down my Christmas decor (yes!! ha!) from the porch and replace with hanging baskets
~ start working on my fence project
~ share a vegetarian meal idea from today's lunch (that I already can't wait to eat)
~ taking some pretty photos in the sunshine of the animals - it's been a minute since I've posted any pics of the goats and chickens.....
I'm so happy it is supposed to be perfect weather this weekend! The days are starting to get longer already, so that is leaving more time in the evenings to have fun outside! I am anxiously awaiting the lush, green forage to take over the trees once again......
Have a great weekend, everyone!!
day 29, part 2..... ha!
