Hello, Monday!
When Christian introduced me to Weyes Blood, I was already a big fan of Father John Misty, and he said this was the female version. Sold. Then I listened.... Wow. I have never been a huge Karen Carpenter fan but always thought her voice was so unique and beautiful. Natalie Mering of Weyes Blood has a hauntingly similar voice - even live it is just as beautiful....
If you love FJM, and haven't listened to Weyes Blood, then do yourself a favor and have a listen... If you haven't listened to either, now is the time to give it a try! Below I am posting my favorite videos from both FJM and WB and hope you enjoy having a watch/ listen.....
