Friday was so beautiful and warm, I decided to get a little grounding in.....

...this is a table top I made from pallets a few years ago. I am gonna make it my gardening table....yes, Spring fever is in full force over here....
...clearing a fairytale path through the pines....
...ol' trusty Black Beauty makes all the clearing possible! We don't have tractors, so we do it all by hand, then load up and unload into burn piles...
..whoops! Close call...
Misty is the only goat out here who can be trusted not to wander... She loves to stick by my side when I am outside playing...er...I mean "working" - I have to admit, this kind of work makes me soon happy!!!
...of course I throw some treats over for ol' Eli.
.....one new path.... This one goes to a field that will be used for grazing within the next year hopefully! Still a lot of work to be done...
...my fairytale path!!! This was solely for my enjoyment. No real reason for this, other than it reminded me of growing up playing in the woods. My dad would carve out trails like this for me to ride my bike. :)

...yes! I have 6 geriatric chickens and it seems 5 are still laying! Hello, Spring!
After all that, a hot bath with epsom salts and a dose of Emergen-C was in order. The pollen was in full force, and although normally it doesn't bother me, when I work like I did this weekend, I tend to be affected by it.... I have the day off today - I am referencing the back yard, expanding the yard, and putting in gates. Oh, annnnnnd my riding mower is getting fixed today! Yay!! Happy Monday, y'all!
