tidbits from the weekend.....

Last weekend, my mom, aunt, and (step)sister headed up north for a fun, mountain-filled joy ride to the "Wild & Wonderful West Virginia".  We are pretty good at packing in the most stuff possible in short amounts of time, and this time was no different. As a child, I spent a good bit of time in the mountains of WV, and we rarely get to see our family up there more than once every few years, so it is always great to make the trip. My brother had a show up there as well, so it was the perfect weekend to go! I only unpacked my nice camera for my brother's show, so all of the photos aside from the show pics are all taken with my iPhone....

 Somewhere between Georgia and West Virginia at a rest area with the best mom in the world!

 I saw these beauties atop a hill on the way to Blackwater Falls and had to snap this....
