Happenings around the farm this morning...

What a weekend so far! I was able to pick up Spirulina from the vet Friday afternoon (she was attacked by a coyote and luckily survived!!) She needs pretty extensive wound care - she has four drains and several oozing punctures, but has an excellent chance at a full recovery!

...I've been feeling a little like this the last few days... ha!
Yesterday, Lauren came out and helped me 'winterize' the chicken coop. The low was 30 degrees!!! The chickens approved of the functional yet very stylish new additions to the coop!

This morning the watering troughs were iced! Brrrrrr! Coldest first day of November I've seen in a while!
Baby and I headed out around 7am to collect pecans. It was cold and it was early, but it was BEAUTIFUL!! I ended up getting about 20 lbs! (Maybe I will make something sweet with them this eve!)
 ...a lonely little flower.....
 Good morning, Ellie!!!!!
 Happy November, Eli!!!

A little too early for ya, Misty? Yaaaaaaawwwwwn.....

Milly was a super duper cuddlebug this morning...... and I managed to capture it in the most unflattering triple chinned angle!

 BFFs forever......
Ellen was enjoying some early morning cud.....

 Sweet Misty .........
...and look! It's TEETH!! I love goat teeth... I'm weird, I know...
 :)

Look at Milly's coat! She has been shirtless completely for a week. She only has one place that is scabby, and it hasn't gotten any worse - yay!!
 More teeth!!

The chickens were checking out Milly, Misty, & Ellen's goat hut....they said their coop was waaaaaay cooler looking!
...then, when Baby and I were about ready to come in and warm up, we were playing in the front yard with a stick and she had a bad seizure.... poor girl....
....and guess who was right there to give her some love as she recovered....
I am feeling a little overwhelmed with these two, but luckily Milly is doing great and all the other farm critters are in good health!
