Exploring the new place......

I just had a large portion (about six acres) bush hogged, and Baby and I went walking where we hadn't really been able to go until now......All of these pics were taken with my iPhone on our little mini journey through our magical land!

Check out the storm heading our way here..... as you can see, we are surrounded by farms. I can go out on my front porch in my birthday suit if I wanted - Only the possibility of cows would see me! We live on a dirt road, with only five other houses, so there is hardly any traffic for hours at a time and even if a car IS coming, you can hear it on the dirt minutes before you can see it, so there is plenty of warning!! I am loving this place soooooooo much!
Just beyond the freshly bush hogged field, we found a plum tree (or I think it is anyway..). Mama is coming out today and she will be able to tell me what it is for sure!
Milk thistle was everywhere, but the fresh mow got most of it - just a few here and there now......
Some Clematis sprinkled throughout the property.....
Our driveway is about middle way on the right in this pic - no house in sight.... across the road is all hay pasture that is hayed ever so often.....
.....an old log had this beautiful fungus on it......
This is the trunk of an old ceder tree out here......
This picture really doesn't do this tree justice... it's HUGE!!!!
Not sure what this flower is, but it sure is pretty! Maybe another thing that mama can identify for me today!
Beautiful Magnolia flower from one of the several trees out here. Most of the trees are pretty young, so non are that big...yet.
Apples growing on the apple tree in the back yard!
