Vintage 60s Style Chiffon Button Front Dress by Miss Elliette of California FOR SALE !!
This elegant beautiful blue chiffon, lined dress is by designer Miss Elliette of California is for sale for $89.00. It features fabric buttons down the front, long sheer sleeves and a matching sash. The size states 16, but sizes were much different then. This dress has about a 40 inch bust and approximate 30 inch waist. Very long length and even with heels on was long for me, and I am 5'8". This beautiful flowing dress, it is clean and from a non-smoking home and is BRAND NEW. Original tags still on dress and state that this was $110.00 when purchased new in stores in the 60s. (Miss Elliette was a label owned and designed by Elliette Ellis. After studying at the Traphagen School of Fashion and working for a dress manufacturer, Ellis started her own line in 1952. She made mid-priced dinner and cocktail dresses that were very feminine, even in the 1960s and 1970s when fashion had moved in a different direction. Despite this, the line was very successful.
