Sunday... Part 1 (Part 2 has something to do with cake...)

This morning was the absolute most perfect of mornings - it wasn't too cold, the sun was starting to make an appearance, and IT IS SUNDAY!!! The day for big breakfasts and 'Sandi's Sweet Stuff'!!

This morning was a country ham and biscuits kind of morning.... Again, I made these biscuits with my best friend 'Cup 4 Cup' and buttermilk. The ham was the perfect companion and it didn't last long...

...and then as I was cleaning up a little bit, I noticed that this came in the mail yesterday!! Whoop! I can't wait to try some of these recipes out!!
Baby and I headed to the farm after breakfast.... The sun was out, the animals were super chill and relaxed and soaking up the sun's warm rays, and I took total advantage of being able to hang out with my farm babies..... The chickens were really excited to have a sunny day to get out and play!

Eli cannot stand the chicken coop to be covered in plastic, so that little meanie sliced open my plastic so he could see his hens... Here is my second winter-proofing the coop. This time I switched fields so that he was in the other field and couldn't get to my coop...
I put some fresh hay in the coop for the girls so they would have some nice fluffy beds tonight...
Baby played hard when we first got out there and then got too pooped to run anymore..
Misty thinks the hay I raked out of the coop was still perfectly good hay, so she squeezed her little head underneath for a snack...
 Hey, look - it's Cuckoo!
Hey there, Mister Eli.... why must you tear the plastic off the coop?
I caught Milly in mid yawn...
...then couldn't resist getting some Milly hugs....

Then it was time to give my oldest babies some lovin.... First up - Eli...

 Then my sweet Ellie....

...check out that sheep's wool on Ellie's horn.... somebody has been being a bully......
 Then a Pancha hug!
