Pancha Is Fitting In & Bring On The RAIN!!!

The rain was forecast for the weekend and luckily, I was able to get in some good playtime with the goats and chickens and Baby before it hit. Pancha has been sleeping in the coop with the other girls for the last few days. She is holding her own just fine and none of the other hens are giving her a hard time. I have really grown fond of her and she has become one of my favorites...Here she is on Saturday morning just before she came out from being cooped up the night before:

She keeps to herself for the most part and just enjoys being on her own during the day. She is quite unsure of Baby, but Baby is determined to win over her heart....she follows her around non-stop.

I just LOVE Pancha's beautiful feathered feet!!
Milly is doing just awesome as always aside from her skin problems, but as of this weekend, her skin looks better than it has since last summer. After band-aids and wraps and t-shirts and lots of love, hopefully this little booger is finally on the mend!!

 All smiles from sweet Milly!

Baby had a blast in the cooler temperatures of Saturday morning running around with the goats after she realized Pancha was not going to give in just yet and be her friend....

 Misty ......

Run!! Baby girl, they are gonna get you!!! Baby sure loves a good game of chase....

After all that exercise, it's time to cool off ..... in the chicken's water!

 ...and again....

Sweet lil ol' Swirls has recently informed me that he wants to get into modeling.... ;)
So far I think he has a good chance. He has become very comfortable with the camera these days...

I managed to sneak up on Eli as he was just about to doze off.....
 ...then he caught me...
..and gave me a good smile for the camera!

I am noticing that these two are really getting hefty this summer.... I like seeing them so healthy and happy!!
"Stop taking pics from that angle, Sandi! It makes me look fat."
 Teeny mushroom in the garden...
Lady bug this morning in between showers... look at the tiny water beads on her!
This little turtle was in the road slowly trying to get to the other side as I was leaving the farm. I stopped and placed it where it looked like it was wanting to go. Happy travels, little turtle!
This rainy Sunday is PERFECT! It is so quiet outside, beautiful and lush, and made for the perfect day to come home and laze around the rest of the day (and blog of course)...

The views from the kitchen windows are just lovely today....

Time to kick off the old boots and give in to tranquility...

Baby is trying to do a little cleaning so I won't have to worry about sweeping later...

 Nap time!!
Have a fabulous week, all!
