Two Cents Tuesday! Baby Snippets!

I decided to throw a few saved snippets together from the time that we have lived at the new place... Baby had so much fun the last 10 months of her life out at the farm, and it was the first time ever that we lived somewhere where we didn't have to worry about leashes, traffic, or other dogs. She was able to be FREE. Free to run, play, and frolic...... These clips make me so happy!!

Want/ Need/ Hear/ See

want:
I want an outdoor bathtub to soak! I WILL have one....one day....

need:
Since my dad passed, I will now be taking in his horse, Rose. I have the land, just no fencing is in place, and no shelter for her at the moment. I have set up a way for you to help donate to this effort if you feel that you can. We will be putting in the fence ourselves, doing all the labor ourselves, and building the shelter as well, but if you have ever looked into actually buying the materials, IT IS EXPENSIVE! I always donate to animal causes, rescues, etc. regularly, and with this unforeseen tragedy, I was not financially prepared to take on these expenses for fencing additional property for this horse. If you have ever wanted to help out with a project at the farm, this is a way I can really use the help. Click on the button below to be directed to PayPal where you can throw in any amount to helping Rose get on her way to Winterville! Thank you!!

hear:
This week's "hear" is a mix. Sweet and lovely songs that sum up my mood today....

see:
I haven't seen this since it came out - I recently came across the movie poster and really want to see this again sometime soon! Maybe I can find a way to stream it tonight......

I'm Baaaaaaaaacccccccckkkkk! Happy Friday!!!

After several weeks of sorting through all the emotions in dealing with the sudden loss of my daddy, then taking on the game changing role of guardian to my 15-year old sister, I am finally getting to my new normal and able to B-R-E-A-T-H-E........ and possibly get the blog back up and running on a regular basis again! All the animals are doing great, and my dad's horse, Rose, is becoming quite fond of me.....

Baby had the most horrible seizure ever back on January 29, and luckily we were able to get and start her on the cbd oil supplement, Canna Companion, that day just after the onset of the seizure. The seizure itself lasted every bit of 30 minutes and the post seizure was about 3-4 hours. It was really scary and I thought I was gonna lose her that day. Since she has started the Canna, she is doing pretty good - not back to normal, but so much better than she was and it does seem like she is slowly making improvements. She sleeps really good, enjoys being outside, and her seizures are shorter now than they were last summer, lasting 20 seconds with almost instant recovery and they are spaced out by about 2-3 weeks. However much longer she has with us, I will take it! This girl has taught me so much in her short time with us!!

Misty and Milly are very gentle with Baby in the field, so they along with the chickens are the only ones who got their pictures taken over the weekend. Eli, Ellen, & Ellie like to play a little too rough with Baby, and with her being a little more sensitive than she used to be, only the twins and the hens get to play with her....

Milly's luscious locks of hair.....

No four leaf clovers today....
Rose was one of my daddy's babies. Soon she will be a resident of the little slice of heaven Christian and I call home.... just a little more fencing to be done!

Eddie is another one of my daddy's babies.... This senior golden retriever is the bees knees when it comes to sweetness....

Taylor and I stopped by Lattimer Luck Farms this weekend to see all the brand new babies!!! We had an overdose on cuteness and baby goat kisses that surely rolled over into both our sweet dreams.....
This Great Pyrenees was at Lattimer Luck, and was following our every move to ensure the brand new babies were safe.... My dad loved these dogs and it was comforting to see this beauty!

Taylor got to bottlefeed....... awwwwww..... :)

Our new normal in life is still working out it's kinks, and things are getting to a more comfortable point now, but we still have a long road ahead of us. I will be able to post more regularly now and am feeling much better these days than when first hit with the news of my dad's passing and realizing I was now to be responsible for my sister's safety and future. I feel daddy all around me all the time and sometimes his presence is so strong it brings me to tears at how close he seems, but how I just cannot 'see' him. Happy Friday, y'all and I look forward to keeping this page updated more regularly!! XOXOXO!
